This is a great value lab notebook. My University's bookstore sells 50 page notebooks for ~$18, so finding double the pages for a few dollars less was a great deal.This notebook has carbon copies (or carbon-less) and the copies show up really clearly.

Love the carbon-copy pages because I now don't have to photocopy my lab reports, as I was using a composition book before. Also, the periodic table & atomic mass table is awesome. The only thing to watch out for is that if you are left-handed (like myself) and use G2 Pilot pens because they fast dry, they will not fast-dry on this type of paper and cause a significant amount of ink drag. This is easily amended though by simply switching to a regular ball-point pen with gel ink. The binding on top is awesome because then your hand doesn't have to awkwardly sit in any creases while you try to write.

This was one of the cheapest books with the most amount of sheets. Some classes require a specific 'Biology' or 'Chemistry' Hayden-McNeil notebook but they are all the same. They all have the same page style, and they are all carbonless duplicates. The only difference is that this flips up instead of left to right. So go for the best value and buy this one, unless you can find another notebook with more sheets at a fewer cost per page.

This is a good lab notebook! The carbon copy pages work excellently and the protective covering that comes inside of it prevents you from “bleeding through” your other carbon copies.It runs a little smaller than the lab notebooks my university sells, but the flip-pad design is a plus because it’s like you’re actually taking notes for your lab notebook. Also, the pages are numbered, so don’t worry about not properly numbering the pages for research experiments...

These notebooks cost wayyyyy less than the spiral bound notebooks and they are the exact same (interior wise). The pages are bound, so you wont get in trouble for loose leaf, and it has the carbonless copies! exactly what you need for lab and a much better price.also these are MUCH better than the spiral bound because now I don't have the spiral getting in the way of my writing. Defiantly the better option when compared to the spiral bound.

Never knew I needed a top-bound notebook in life until I saw this guy. Now I don't think I can ever go back! Great idea! It is so much easier to write near the edges with the top bound design and it has a great insert to prevent writing on more than 1 set of pages at a time. Love the block up top with spaces for my name, lab exercise # and title, etc. This is THE notebook you need for lab classes!

Great lab notebook. I bought this one because I am left handed and hate to write in spiral bound notebooks. I was concerned about the pages, because I've used top bound sketch books before, and they are normally really flimsy and all the pages fall out. This book is very well constructed. I've torn out the carbon copies on the first 20 pages, and the original pages are still firmly attached to the book.

It's a pretty solid lab notebook. The copies are great and seem to work even if you don't press very hard when you right, which is a plus for me. The pages are large and the page protector is easy to position so your writing doesn't go through multiple pages. It's a pretty solid lab notebook for a good price. If you need a carbon copy lab book for a class, just buy it here - you'll save quite a bit of money over your campus bookstore.
