You might not realize how short this book is when looking to buy it- but don't let that put you off. It's still full of great content. I feel like the publishing/editing was a bit on the poor side, there are pages with really odd spacing between words, some paragraphs that aren't lined up properly, a few other minor errors of these kinds but really not a big deal.Overall I thought this was a great introduction to the concept of the Memory palace, a lot of other books on the topic are either really technical or have excessive story filler and don't get to the heart of the matter very quickly. This book outlines the idea of the Memory palace almost outright. What you might not expect, is it also comes with a variety of other mnemonic techniques for various other things such as tricks to learn a different language faster.Would recommend. Definitely worth the money. If you're looking for books that go more in depth on the subject, look up "In palaces of memory" and "Moonwalking with Einstein".

Not everyone needs the memory systems it discusses; the section on card memorization is one such example. But method of loci exercises and examples, and other tricks like mind mapping, are more universal. Don't expect a profound or length tome, but it can be read in a single sitting, which is refreshing.
