Easy to read and timely -- covers alternatives to typical bank financing in book form and now that area is moving and changing so quickly that it is mostly discussed in blogs and online forums. Provides good checklists for things to note, do, and watch out for in financing and closing real estate deals. The "Takeaways" section at the end of each chapter did not work for me -- I expected a summary of the chapter, but instead these were very broad questions asking the reader to apply the chapter's ideas to his/her real estate activities. With such short chapters, I found them disruptive to the flow of the book. But a minor criticism -- good information in an accessible format.

This guide takes the mystery out of finding and getting the funds you need for Real Estate Investing. It enables you to speak the language so necessary to communicate effectively with potential investors. Well done.

Great information that lays out the details of funding real estate projects. Anyone who has ever dabbled in real estate knows that funding is the most challenging aspect of the business. I think even the most experienced investor could learn something new from this book.
