Cathy Glass is a wonderful inspiring woman that has helped many children survive and be able to live a new life full of love and kindness. We need to pray for her and others working so hard to protect children and help them. I have read several of Cathy's books and recommend them to anyone who would like to see more people who put a child's welfare first and foremost. Keep writing Cathy. Everyone needs to know there is hope for the many children in need..

"Cathy Glass" never fails to amaze me with her writing style, and how she can integrate the stories of children she has been a foster parent to while integreting the lives of her own family.Hidden is about a child she received with no history who was polite, intellegent, and had a severe problem with his dark skin.This boy had a dream that he would one day be united with his father, who no one could find, and frankly wondered it he was an imaginary father.This story takes the reader into the world of a child living with a drug addicted mother, shedding light on what the "underworld" in England is for many children.As with all of her books, I could not put it down, and read long into the night.This young boy had a happy ending, something that not all of her children have had. It is well worth the read.

This is the third book of cathy glass I have read. I enjoy the depth of her writing about feelings and the small things that happen in her fostering. It is inspiring to know there are truly good people in this world. She is amazing. I hope the writing of these books give her extra income because she doesn't hesitate to buy things for her foster kids to treat them as her own. We can all learn from her example.

I have so much admiration for Cathy Glass. She is truly a generous, caring and exceptional person to be able and willing to help these children with love and understanding. She also puts actions into words very well.Therese Short

A great book. Very interesting I cried like a baby at the end of the book. I learned about children in the system and those that are lost with no support. The number of children in the system and those who haven't made it to the system is shocking! My heart bleeds for all those children lost.

While I did find this to be an interesting read, I questioned the authenticity. While situations like the one detailed in this book most certainly do occur, they more than likely end very tragically for the child and a snowball in you-know-where has a better chance than the neat and tidy wrap up of Tayo's story. I simply could and cannot believe it.

With her stories of her foster children, Cathy Glass not only entertains but also raises an awareness that not all children have a fairy tale life. Her compassion for the children she cares for brings a difficult subject to the front of awareness. She makes it clear that Social Services is not always perfect but, sometimes they are the only good option. I have read many of her books and they are well written and I will be reading many more.

I love Cathy Glass and her intimate stories that touch the heart! This one shows the love of a parent who loses a child.
