As a child of divorce, I thought separation looked a certain way. I thought exes are supposed to fight; supposed to spew slander; supposed to hate each other. The seed of divorce births unhealthy relationships in a child's life. Problem-solving becomes problematic and manifests into a myriad of adult issues. Thank God for Mashonda doing the difficult internal work and providing an external solution to the world. "Blend" is the mental shift needed in a world where finger-pointing is commonplace. Looking internally is difficult for most, but mostly that's where the answers are - it's where the love is.

Mashonda thank you for writing the Blend book!This book has given me so much hope about my process and I’m so grateful to Mashonda for sharing her heart, knowledge and experiences. It was so well written and very genuine.I have been on both sides of the blend, luckily I have gotten to a great place with my ex after a very rough breakup and we co-parent really well. But I am married and my husband also has a son from a previous relationship and we are struggling to Blend with his ex! This book has just given me such hope that one day we can all be in a great co-parenting relationship. I know it’s possible and this book gave me clear examples of how it can happen. It also helped put a lot in perspective! So thankful I read it! I am so renewed in my desire to keep working at this blending. ❤️
